Success Story: bespot

The story of bespot began with a simple yet powerful observation: while online businesses had access to advanced customer behavior data, physical spaces remained largely “blind.” Leon Gavalas, driven by his background in data science and passion for innovation, saw a major opportunity in bridging this gap. The idea was born—to empower businesses in the physical world with the same level of insight and precision that digital platforms enjoy.

Motivated by this vision, Leon and his team joined ACEin, where they began developing a platform that would combine geolocation data, AI, and real-time analytics to revolutionize how brick-and-mortar businesses understand customer movement and behavior.

Apart from developing its solution, while at the incubator, bespot had the opportunity to pilot test its technology in real-life cases through Open Innovation projects run with major companies, such as Nestle.

bespot emerged from ACEin as a pioneering force in location intelligence, transforming how businesses interact with physical environments. By leveraging cutting-edge AI and IoT technologies, bespot offers precise indoor and outdoor geolocation analytics, helping enterprises improve customer experience, optimize operations, and reduce risk. Its current portfolio of solutions allows precise, real-time location verification, helps businesses understand and interact with their customers by decoding consumer behaviour patterns through location data, and supports them in detecting suspicious activities -through a customizable online fraud prevention platform- that may occur in mobile and web applications.
