How did they collaborate?
Through their participation in the PoC program, they solve the problem of monitoring of the medium-voltage network of DEDDIE S.A. using UAVs and cloud technologies, overcoming challenges of analog monitoring. Their solution is EMERGE, an online, cloud-based web platform that integrates all the necessary information for the network operator, including data collected by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems. The information contained in the platform digitally displays DEDDIE’s medium-voltage network using very high-resolution data from UAV-based mapping and monitoring with appropriately selected sensors. During the program, SciDrones developed and tested its platform in the island of Lesvos.
